WEDDINGS
The average UK wedding costs a staggering £14,000! The costs of a photographer, cake, food and venue quickly add up. Hiring a cameraman for the special day can be an expense too far.
All that footage taken by relatives and friends normally sits gathering dust or could be accidentally taped over. Why not gather it all together and send it to us to produce a professional looking wedding dvd that you will treasure for many years to come.To days camcorders produce high quality results,so in partnership with us, the end result will astound you. Hiring a cameraman is now an expense that need not be experienced .Together,we will go through exactly what you want included in the dvd or vhs tape. It is important to us but especially to you that the end result is a perfect reflection of your wedding day. The money you save can go towards perhaps your honeymoon, making it that extra bit special. Make sure you take your camcorder away with you to record those special moments .We are so sure about the quality of our service that we think your honeymoon footage will be winging its way to us as soon as you come home.
We are able to take snapshot photos from your film footage and either print them or make a slide show. Talk to us before the wedding for some hints on how to make the footage just that extra bit special.
Extra copies can be ordered for all those people who were present and anyone who was not.
Here are a few tips that might help your filming on the big day
-
If at all possible visit the location beforehand to assess the layout, lighting, power points for recharging and to be nice to the priest/officials. Check out the parking access to enable a quick getaway from house to church to reception. .
-
Have a checklist for the Big Day, so you don't forget a single thing. Don't use new untried kit on the day.
-
When shooting, shoot lots. Remember, this day will never come again. Much easier to edit down your master tapes than to lengthen them.
-
Dance on your toes. Stay very alert. Concentrate on keeping the camera still (unless you're adept at tracking). Get big powerful close ups. Shoot people, all the people. A bit of the location, but go back and shoot more people. Remember we're all here because people like looking at people.
-
Check over your kit very carefully. Check white balance, exposure, focus settings are all as you require, and are happy with.
-
Check with the bride if she's asked you to do this film. Ask exactly what she'd like you to record
-
Try to be in two places at once. Wear unobtrusive clothing, take a brave pill and move amongst the guests, filming and smiling graciously.
-
Decline alcohol (difficult one this) as drinking time is lost filming time. You can't do 2 things well, so concentrate on getting the footage. Don't be tempted to shoot stills; it requires a different mind set.
-
Remember your video camera is a sound recorder that just happens to record pictures at the same time. If you stop recording mid sentence the conversation will be nonsense whereas the pictures may be fine.
Why Film Your Wedding?
You have to, because you should have memories on film that you can relive for eternity. The fact of the matter is that capturing your wedding – and the events surrounding your wedding – as a movie is better than only capturing it with still pictures. Wouldn't you like to hear the vows just as they were said? Wouldn't you like to see the first dance in full motion and sound? Imagine the location set within the rolling hills, the fairytale Georgian manor house with stunning views over the bottle green sea and surrounded by 100 acres of roaming deer and parkland. The Georgian Orangery providing a unique and stylish location for your Marriage ceremony. Reception drinks served outside on the manicured lawns while your guests enjoy a game of Croquet, or in the Great Hall, complete with a Minstrel's gallery and high vaulted ceiling. Can you really capture that scene with photographs? The plain answer is no. Your guests will be filming every part of your wedding, and every corner of your location, camcorder tape galore! What will happen to all that film? It will sit fragmented in various houses sometimes viewed, sometimes accidentally taped over, what should you do with it? Send it to us of course. We will take all your wedding video tape footage and stylishly produce a DVD film record of your day, which will last long after perhaps the location has changed or even disappeared. We will recreate the very mood and essence of your wedding in a way no paid camera man can, as he simply has not got the amount or variety of shots that your willing camcorder guests have. Titles, chapters, music video and snapshots if required will all be added along with copies, again if required.
