Let’s keep it simple! I would imagine you have visited other sites and been confused by all of their technical talk. It is easy to quote facts and figures that for the most part are meaningless and frankly of little use to the average person. We hope to answer any questions you might have in a plain and simple language.
Can you improve the quality of my footage?
Film footage can be improved up to a point. Dull film caused by bad light can, to an extent, be improved along with its colours.
What can you do about footage with a lot of camera shake?
If the clip is really important, we can lessen the shake to an extent. If the shake is too great, we can edit the footage out as necessary.
What can be done if the sound on the film is to quiet or loud?
We can alter the volume up or down and even cut it out altogether.
I have two different cameras, one is digital 8 the other, DV. Can you put both films onto the same DVD?
Yes we can do most formats. Just give us a call!
I want to send a copy to my relation who lives abroad, but they use NTSC players there.
For an extra charge you can have it in both formats PAL and NTSC.
What length of video can I put onto a DVD?
About two hours, any more and the quality will suffer.
What discs do you use?
Only the best quality DVD+R AND DVD-R
But which one do I need?
Most DVD players will play DVD-R but check our links page to see which format your player uses. It is very important you get this part right. If you are at all unsure please ask us, we are only to pleased to help.
Is my original film changed in anyway?
Not at all, the film you send us is the film you get back.
Do you keep a copy?
Yes. Just in case in the future you want some extra copies made. They will be kept secure and not shown or used for any other purpose.
Can I have whatever music I like?
Yes as long as you provide the music, we will of course send back any CD’s sent to us. Please be aware of copyright issues though.
How long will it take?
Please allow 14 days. If for any reason it might take longer we will of course let you know.
When and how do I pay?
Payment must be received and cleared before any work will commence. Details to be found on the “Pricing and Packages” page.
